Controls-Con 2025 was the ultimate training camp for smart building professionals. Held May 8–9 at the MotorCity Casino Hotel, this two-day conference and trade show brought together top industry players—from HVACR contractors and systems integrators to engineers and technicians—to sharpen their skills, explore the latest technology, and set the foundation for a winning season. It was the perfect way to get your team game-day ready.

the warm-up: Precon - May 7

Before the first pitch of Controls-Con 2025, attendees warmed up with PreCon, an exclusive pre-event held on May 7 at One Campus Martius, 16th Floor – Elevate Event Space. By popular demand, the program was expanded to deliver 6 hours of hard-hitting content, running from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., helping participants refine their skills before game day. With limited seating, it was a prime opportunity to get ahead of the competition.
